Inductor logging + analysis of torch.profile (#149697)
Prereqs: - https://github.com/pytorch/pytorch/pull/152708 Features: 1. Adds inductor's estimate of flops and bandwidth to the json trace events that perfetto uses. 1. Only use the tflops estimation from triton if we don't have the info from the datasheet because Triton's estimates are inaccurate. I have a backlog item to fix triton flops estimation upstream. New `DeviceInfo` class, and new function `get_device_tflops`. 1. New helpers `countable_fx` and `count_flops_fx` helps get the flops of an `fx.Node`. 1. Extends Triton `torch.profiler` logging to `DebugAutotuner`. 1. New script `profile_analysis.py`: `--augment_trace` adds perf estimates to any perfetto json trace, `--analyze` creates a summary table of these perf estimates, and `--diff` will compare two traces Prereqs: - https://github.com/pytorch/pytorch/pull/152708 Features: 1. Adds inductor's estimate of flops and bandwidth to the json trace events that perfetto uses. 1. Only use the tflops estimation from triton if we don't have the info from the datasheet because Triton's estimates are inaccurate. I have a backlog item to fix triton flops estimation upstream. New `DeviceInfo` class, and new function `get_device_tflops`. 1. New helpers `countable_fx` and `count_flops_fx` helps get the flops of an `fx.Node`. 1. Extends Triton `torch.profiler` logging to `DebugAutotuner`. 1. Scheduler Flops refactor (#152708)
This refactors `estimate_flops` and `get_estimated_runtime` on scheduler nodes: 1. New function on BaseSchedulerNode: `estimate_flops`. Works with all types of ir nodes now, not just `ExternalKernels`. 1. Extends `get_estimated_runtime` to work with non-`ExternalKernels`. Add precedence to the infix printing done by sympy_str. Without this change sympy_str will print the same string for both `a+b*(c+d)` and `(a+b)*(c+d)`. Proper handling of arguments passed by in kwargs inside zip_schema (#137311)
if the function is ```func(a, b, c) ``` and is called as ```func(a=1, b=.., c=..)``` before this change we do not iterate on the a, b, c, since those appear in kwargs this diff fix that issue. Fix sympy_subs to preserve integer and non-negative properties. (#118150)
This diff introduce the following changes: 1. Fix sympy_subs to preserve integer and non-negative properties of replaced symbol when replacement is string why is this needed? I was compiling an expression: x*abs(y) where y =-2 what happens is that this expression is passed as ``s1*abs(s0)`` then s0 is replaced to ks0 with a call to sympy_subs. but sympy_subs used to replace s0 (integer=false, nonegative=false) with ks0(inetegr=true, nonegative = true) resulting in ``x*abs(ks0) = x*ks0`` which is wrong 2. rename sympy_symbol to sympy_index_symbol to make it explicit. 3. add assertion that replaced expression is not passed as string but always a sympy expression.
